Shawn Brodeur is having a pretty decent playoff when you look at it from his regular season perspective. He didn't have the best regular season but is now proving himself in the playoffs with a solid showing. Brodeur is 4-3-0 with a 0.860 save percentage and a 4.17 goals against average. It is not the best but it is getting the job done. Brodeur and the Aces have dispatched of the Yukon Rush in the wildcard round of the playoffs and are now playing the top ranked Oslo Storm. Many predicted a cake walk for the Storm but the series is tied at 2-2 right now. It is now a best of 3 series for a spot in the finals against probably the Saskatoon Wild who lead their series against the Ottawa Lynx 3-1. However, there is a 3-1 curse supposedly in the VHL/M that says if you take a 3-1 series lead you might blow it much like the Stockholm Vikings in these VHL playoffs against the HC Davos Dynamo.
