Oskar Ingolfsson Drafted to Ottawa Lynx

Oskar Ingolfsson was hoping to be drafted to the Oslo Storm this season.  When he ranked the VHLM teams to the press Oslo was his number one team and that was even before his own manager became GM of the franchise.  During the draft though Oslo waited too long to select Ingolfsson and he was snatched up right before their 3^rd round pick, where rumors are they were planning to draft him.  Instead he was drafted by the Ottawa Lynx, a team he had not previously spoken with prior to the draft.  What did Ingolfsson have to say about this?

 

“Everyone always has the perfect team in their head.  The team they are dying to go to.  More times than not though, it doesn’t work out that way.  This time it didn’t quite work out that way for me, but that doesn’t matter.  I am happy to play no matter where I’m drafted.  It means a lot to me that the GM Beaviss put so much faith in me.  I will try my hardest to play with excitement and vigor every game and go out and win this team a cup!”
