Phil 5,119
Many of the players and GMs, fans and coaches, can't wait for the season to get started. There have been many off-season deals that have shaken up the dynamic of the VHL but it seems that Helsinki will still be the team to beat this season. Of course, Helsinki are gunning for a 3peat, which has only once ever been achieved before. For more information, ask @Molholt. The Americans decided to go full-blown rebuild and that's why Shankly has found himself in Latvia with Ravenwing, Power, and Digital. This team may as well be called the Riga Americans. Regardless Shankly is half way through his career and as A LOT of work to do to finish it where he wants. He will be taking the REIGNS of this team and trying to lead them to glory, or at least stop the 3peat. Shankly last season was mostly disappointed that he did not get 300 hits. One of his goals was to average at least 300 per season - something which he's only done twice. He'll look to change that this season, with his first chance at being a top liner.
