scoop 3,432
With just a handful of games remaining, Diana Maxwell is having a relatively disappointing season. The winner of back-to-back Brooks and Szatkowski Trophies, Maxwell is 16 points behind league-leading Lukas Muller. With 98 points, Maxwell is 5th in the league, but given what we've come to expect from her, I would definitely say that she is underperforming this season. It would take a heck of a 12-game stretch for Maxwell to win a third straight Szatkowski Trophy, but another Brooks Trophy is within reach. Maxwell currently leads the league with 51 goals, one ahead of Helsinki's Franchise Cornerstone. There are a few players in league history who have led the league in points three seasons in a row. As I mentioned, it is unlikely that Maxwell will be joining that company. However, Maxwell could start a club of her own if she can lead the league in goals. Now player has ever been the top goal scorer in three consecutive seasons, and with a goal lead and just 12 games to go, it's certainly a possibility that Maxwell accomplishes this feat. for mist4ke Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/43859-diana-maxwell-attempting-to-make-history/ Share on other sites
