Last night Calgary played against Quebec in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Tight games and all, but there was one incident that made quite few openly question the referees ability to keep games under control. I´m of course talking about the moment when The Process from Calgary almost took Fook Yu´s head off with a vicious, dirty and plain mean two hand slash. I don´t unfortunately have any video clips that would demonstrate what happened (they cost money, that I don´t have), but I have written report on what happened:

Puck is dumped in Meute zone by The Process. Puck retreived by Fook Yu. Fook Yu is hit by CGY LW2 and loses puck. Double Minor Penalty to The Process for Slashing.

Never seen one player show so little respect towards another player, but that is what we have gotten used to with Calgary, easily one of the dirtiest teams in VHL, only Helsinki was ranked more evil in the recent surveys.

But back to the incident, only 4 minutes? That is a joke, should have been 5 mins and game for Process. Then on top of that 25 game suspension. Miracle Yu was not injured. It was clear what team benefitted from poor refereeing in that game, Calgary. They got more than few other suspicious calls go their way,  in result of that they scored 2 goals on the PP and won the game.

I can only hope the referees of that game are investigated for potential bribing from Calgarys organization.
