The Aces didnt sweat much when Yukin took game one. If this had been under ex head coach, Edwin Threecarnation, it might have lead to a disater and the Aces losing. Its not though, with GM Encarnation going MIA, Vlad was brought in by the owners on an interm basis

 

Hes not expected to go past this season, as he eyes bigger goals. However it lead the Aces from third, to 1st with an outstanding record. The Aces took that confidence into the Rusb series crushing them 4-1, as they head to there 3rd cup final in 3 seasons. With Komarov, Jones, Broduer, and Gundson all leaving the team next year. The window is likely now to win it all, the battle could feature Saskatawan. That would make the finals to break the tie break after they both won one last two seasons. 

 

If not Sask, then they will face Ottawa who up untill the surge of the Aces was first place. Ottawa would be a big challenge, lead by VHLM career Jon Snow, and Ho Lee Fook. They are deeper than Sask in everyway.
