TheLastOlympian07 2,388
The slow start Gretzky endured means nothing as recently he has been consistently putting up points and has climbed the scoring leader board. It seemed Gretzky needed to just get comfortable in his new location. After 3 seasons in Davos, Switzerland and moving to Calgary, Alberta was a lot to take in for just one offseason. However, after the small learning period, Gretzky is trucking right along and leading the Wranglers in points with 27 goals and 41 assists for 68 points. This is just 4th among centers in the league behind Fred Krigars, Sergei Komarov and Franchise Cornerstone. Shawn Brodeur is still having a decent season with a 12-29-5 record with a .915 save percentage and a 3.45 G.A.A. He has 2 shutouts on the season. He also has faced the 2nd most shots in the league with 1866 which is 40.5 shots per game. That is a lot of shots per game and to win 12 of those games its pretty amazing and to have a nice save percentage of .915 is pretty good for a rookie goaltender.
