Gretz doing Gretz things Brodeur not so much

Shawn Gretzky just keeps trucking along this year as he and Gabriel McAllister are one-two in league scoring right now. Gretzky has 31 goals and 48 assists for 79 points while Gabe has 41 goals and 37 assists for 78 points. These two are the front runners for MVP right now and of course Gabe looks to win the Kevin Brooks Trophy while Gretzky wants to add the Alexander Beketov Trophy to his trophy case. Gretzky and Gabe also are fighting it out for the Mike Szatkowski Trophy too. Overall, it is amazing to watch the chemistry both these players have right now.

 

Shawn Brodeur on the other hand is playing for the last place Dynamo team who aren't doing much of anything right now. Brodeur is the only goalie with a sub .900 save percentage and he has only 7 wins in 47 games. Overall, it has been a season to forget for the young netminder, hopefully next season we see a big uptick in save percentage from Brodeur.
