VHLwhat 48 Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Billy von Goon to VHLM Billy von Goon probably won’t ever be a name that sells tickets or wins accolades during his playing career but the 17-year-old defenseman has joined the VHLM in hopes of becoming a player in the VHL. With a name von Goon, you can guess what kind of player he will be, a classic Goon. He doesn’t have any notable skills on the ice and looks lost most of the time but he really loves to smash people into the glass as well as to pick fights with anyone, anytime. For every team he’s played on, he was always the enforcer and was usually called upon by the coach to take out an opposing player. From all the research we were able to gather, von Goon hasn’t scored or assisted on a goal since he was eight years old and that was an own goal so we’re not entirely sure that counts. It will be interesting to see how his career unfolds and if he can ever develop real hockey skills to make the big step from the VHLM to the VHL.
