Rush Extend Win Streak to 14

For the second time this season, the Yukon Rush have achieved a 14 game winning streak, and they have been doing it convincingly. Over this streak, only four wins have been by one goal, and the Rush have outscored their opponents by 39 goals, an average of 2.79 goals per game. It's been a complete team effort from Yukon, and they currently have five players with extended scoring streaks (Ho Lee Fook and Varis Tribuncovs with 8 a piece, Noel Roux and Oyorra Arroyo sitting at 5 each, and newcomer Josh Stronk chipping in 4 as well). In additional, Yukon appears to be getting stronger as the streak goes on. Over their last three games, the Rush have shot at least twice as many times as their opponent. They matched a season high in goals scored against the Lynx in a 7-2 victory, then went out the next night and smashed the Lynx again, becoming the first team to score 8 goals in a game this season in an 8-3 win. They currently have the league leaders in points, assists, and face-off %, as well as all of the top 3 defensemen in terms of points. Bottom line, the Rush have been the most dominant team this season, and with 4 of their next 6 games coming against the Saskatoon Wild, we may very well see this current streak extend into the 20s.
