Rematch heating up

Last season the Seattle Bears best the Toronto Legion in 7 games to move onto the Continental Cup Final. This season they needed a wildcard round to get there but the matchup is just as heated as it has been in the past with the two high scoring teams tied at 2 games a piece after 4. After Seattle’s slumping regular season the rivalry between the two teams had cooled off slightly but it looks to be heavily re-ignited in the playoffs, especially with Seattle’s forward core having finally woken up.

 

With this being his last shot at the cup, Toronto forward Roman Sokolov has this to say,

 

“Obviously we weren’t expecting to breeze past them, Seattle is a tough team. We were definitely hoping that their scoring wouldn’t wake up like this though. Their forward code can be scary when they are on and they are definitely on right now. We’re just focusing on the next 2 games and pushing to get this done in 6. With these two teams game 7 really could go either way and we don’t want to see that happen.”
