Daniel 565
Following a brief stint as the backup goaltender for the Las Vegas Aces of the VHLM, in which he witnessed the team suffer a disappointing finals loss to the Yukon Rush, Norwegian goaltender prospect Arvid Aamo was entered into the S60 VHLM Dispersal Draft, with no idea or expectation of where he might end up. It wasn't totally clear what teams would need help between the pipes before the draft began, but to Arvid's great delight he was selected in the 5th round by the Oslo Storm, being the second goaltender off the board and very grateful to be spending the upcoming season playing in Norway, where his family and friends will have the opportunity to come and watch him play as often as possible. There is a lot of pressure that comes with being named the starting goaltender of a team to which you already have some connection, but Arvid appears to be very excited for this season with the Storm, as he looks to establish himself as a premier talent approaching next season's S61 VHL Entry Draft which he hopes to be a top prospect going into. It's a long road ahead for Arvid before that day comes, but being selected by the Storm is a first step in a direction that he is incredibly happy about.
