TheLastOlympian07 2,388
Shawn Brodeur has been awaiting to follow up rookie season in which he posted a 20 win season. In the 2 seasons that followed, Brodeur has put up just 26 wins. That looks like that will change this season but there is a new wrinkle in Davos as the now 4 year starter will be joined by Torstein Ironside. The former 3rd OA pick will be entering the fray and it will remain to be seen if Brodeur is still the starter or if Ironside will take the reigns. This reminds me of the Roberto Luongo | Cory Schneider fiasco in Vancouver all those years ago. Could these two goalies co exist together or will they be fighting for the crease so much that it causes a distraction in the Davos LR? I guess we will see as we get into the season. It could be a brillient move for Davos or it could be won that the GM will be regretting because Brodeur just signed a lifetime contract with the Dynamo.
