Oslo Unaware They're Supposed To Be Losing

OSLO - This season was supposed to be over for the Oslo Storm. Being over 20 points behind the Vasteras Baby Eagles was just too much of a mountain to climb, the experts said. Now was the time to be selling everyone off and getting a batch of picks for the next season. However, the players of the Storm haven't listened to that one bit, as Oslo is heating up for a late-season run. Oslo has gone 7-1-2 in their last ten games, giving notice to Vasteras that if they continue to slip up, they might just find themselves on the outside looking in.

"I'm incredibly proud of the boys," said Oslo general manager Thomas Landry. "Nobody wants to give this team any credit, but they don't care. They're going to go out there and give it everything they've got, regardless of the outcome. As a general manager, seeing that kind of effort and unity just gives you all the feeling in the world that you've got some great team players maturing before your eyes and it won't be long until we see them in the VHL."

It will be a difficult, if not nearly impossible task to catch Vasteras, but it will not be due to a lack of effort if the Storm miss the playoffs. But for now, there's a mighty Storm brewing in Oslo and beware to those who venture into the depths of their lair.
