DollarAndADream 3,357
Can the Lynx Make the Playoffs? It has come down to the wire here between the Wild and the Lynx. Both teams have 65 games played and the Wild remain 2 points ahead in a playoff positon. With 7 games left for both of these teams, it is going to be a grueling task for them both to make it into the post-season. Big names for both clubs will have to step it up big time if either team wants to make it in. Needless to say, Ottawa's chances will rest on Konstantin Azhishchenkov's shoulders. He and his linemates Travis Boychuk and Noah Jackson will need to do well in the week to come. KJA has been on a tear, with 75 points in 61 games. Travis Boychuk has been getting better in the final stretch, and Noah Jackson has 5 points in 3 games as the newcomer. We have caught up with Travis Boychuk for a one-on-one interview about his thoughts on these final games: "It all comes down to this stretch here. We need to be consistent in the remaining games to end the season if we want to crack the playoffs. The playoffs are what we dream of when playing in any league and I look forward to making an attempt at proving we belong there. It's all about the work." It remains to be seen what lies ahead in the final games. It is up to star players whether they want it or not.
