Dangles13 373
It has been an up and down ride in Davos. Mostly, the season has been filled with ups and Otto Axelsson is enjoying a career year. While it is only Axelsson's second season in the league this season marks a great improvement for a player who was previously written off. With sixteen games still left in the season, Otto has set career highs in many aspects; Otto has improved from just seven goals to twelve and could finish the season somewhere around the fifteen goal mark, his increased shooting rate and confidence are noticeable. Otto has shown a small increase in playmaking as his assist total has gone from 26 to 28 and we can expect him to hit the 35 mark by the end of the season. Axelsson is on pace to eclipse the 50 point barrier which would make this season the opposite of a sophomore slump. Axelsson was beleaguered with defensive woes last season and saw his ice time cut for it, this season sees the Swede at a +33 and barring a major collapse that number looks to one of the top ones for Davos. Axelsson has seen a dip in his physical play, his hits are down from 51 to just 9 as he looks to engage in the play with the puck and not without it.
