With the 8th Overall Selection, Las Vegas Selects Julian Borwinn

Draft day...if there was one moment in a hockey players young career which warranted the highest amount of excitement, this is it. Julian Borwinn came into the league soaring and is not slowing down. Although he had his sights on a first round selection his expectations were at the second round. Las Vegas' GM stepped up to the podium with a rye smile; "With the 8th overall selection in the VHLM entry draft, the Las Vegas Aces are ecstatic to select left winger Julian Borwinn". Borwinn jolted out of his seat, no doubt he became antsy knowing his name was not far off from being called. He had a successful one on one interview that day with the Aces GM and had positive vibes this is where he was to play his junior year.

 

 

With the season just over 24 hours away; Borwinn has continued to work like a madman. Squeezing out each and every moment he has to improving every facet of his game. There is no going back. Borwinn is committed to making his mark in juniors and will be closely scouted by the GM's of the VHL.
