Off-season Plans

With the off-season well underway for the VHL, Otto Axelsson heads home to Sweden to be with his family but does he have any other plans? It appears that the smooth-skating Swede has some aspects of his game that the coaching staff wants him to work on. "Coach took me aside before I left and gave me a binder with some things to work on. I have some drills to improve my shooting and I want to work on my passing and vision to better find teammates. I also have a workout regiment that I need to follow so I can stay in shape and get stronger for next season". Otto's English has noticeably improved since he was drafted and we asked him about it and he had the following to say: "Uh, yeah I have spent a lot of time with English speaking people so my abilities have improved. I used to speak English ok but I got out of practice for a while so I took some lessons too. Now I think I speak better than half of my teammates" laughs Otto.
