Cornflakers 73
OTTAWA CITIZEN PRESS, AUGUST 20th, 2018 Scott Settling in Vegas Highly hyped Centerman, Scott Shawinganen, has been playing consistent minutes on the 2nd line in Vegas. This comes as he plays within the shadow of Olesiky Revechnko (sp?). We aren't sure who this guy is, but we can tell just from the way he skates, he's benefiting from his linemates, not the other way around. Scott has quite a way to come if he wants to crack the first line. And with Revchenko getting better as he hits his stride, things may get worse before they get better for this young budding forward. Scott hasn't found the score sheet often, but picked up an assist during a shutout. "Playing in front of Pepper certainly gives you a ton of confidence. He's going to be an elite force in the league, and it's great to have him on our side. I couldn’t imagine what our snipers would think if they had to be finding holes in his game, and it’s great for when we scrimmage. He’s just a great guy with a great personality.” Scott said in a post game interview after the Shutout. Scott looks to continue his development, perhaps with a focus on the more skilled areas of his game, passing, skating, and scoring. Perhaps as he focuses more on these areas, he’ll be more of an asset to the team. The coaching staff is one of the league's best, especially at the minor level. Mr Reinstdat is still Scott’s agent, and he’ll make sure he works with Julian Borwinn of the Las Vegas Aces to get Scott the best chance to shine.
