jacobaa19 191
With the World juniors quickly approaching we are seeing the young players choose what nationality they will play for. One of the most recent changes is Davos d-man Jacob Smith. we got this out of him "I've always been a canadian and nothing will change that but, Ive got Italian blood in me. Sure I could've played for Canada and be a superstar but, I want to play somewhere with a challenge and team Europe has quite a few good players but I think we need that extra push to be all stars." Of course this move leaves Canada's Defense pretty bare we asked him about that as well. "Yea it leaves a pretty big hole in that team but, Its Canada they can easily find someone to replace me it's not like im abandoning my country I've already moved out of the country and into Europe so it ain't that big of a deal to me. Canada is home and always will be maybe I'll finish my career there nobody knows. I just want to have fun at the WJC I'm not goin out to shine I'll probably party a lot if I'm being honest." Lets just hope these young guns don't party to hard or get into any trouble. 211 words Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/52432-smith-heads-east/ Share on other sites
