Getting to represent Team Europe in the S62 WJC tournament is one of the biggest highlights in my short career so far. The actual games did not go as well as many hoped and expected, Europe managed to win only three games out of eight during the round robin. We made it into the next round, but Team World ended our fun with a win in the first knockout game. Personally I felt like I could not really get my wheels moving at any point, 1+3 is simply not good enough.

What made the whole experience bit sour was the lack of faith towards me on the PP. I don´t know if the coaching staff felt like I cant handle a role on the PP, but if you look at how well I have managed to play in VHL against grown men during my rookie year, a PP role is not a crazy idea. Especially when you think about how strong I am in the faceoff circle, finished second among all centers in the round robin with faceoff rating of 63.20%. Winning faceoffs is crucial on the special teams, I feel like I could have made a bigger impact if given the opportunity, but that is in the past now.

Next in schedule is to focus on improving as a player and helping Quebec to play as well as possible!
