"Before I talk about my new team, I would just like to say a thank you to the Saskatoon Wild. I am not going to lie, the half-season I spent there was difficult. I was promised first-line minutes but I ended up not getting any minutes at all. However, I am still grateful to that organization for letting me use their practice facility for the last couple months of the season and wish them the best in the future. On the other side of things, I am ecstatic that the Takhini Arena's decided to take a chance on me in the draft. I will do everything I can in my one season there to bring is a VHML championship. Not sure if they plan to use me on the wing, as a first liner or a second liner, but frankly I don't really care. As long as I get the play-time to prove that I have the ability to play I will be extremely happy with the management and will show them that they made the right decision with me."
