Season 62 was a surprising one for the Quebec City Meute, who shocked everyone on the way to nearly stealing a cup from the loaded Calgary Wranglers. Top Meute prospect Marvin Harding disappointed in his rookie campaign for the team, but has put all that aside to move his eyes ahead to the coming season.

"I've been working hard and I'm fully expecting a breakout for myself," Harding said. "I'm planning on being the leader of our second line this year. We have so much talent on this roster, I need to be the guy that steps up after really not playing up to standard whatsoever in my first pro season. A lot of teams in the VHL have made big moves to push themselves into cup contention, but we know we can sit tight, let our young guys continue to develop, and step up to the plate and it'll end in a cup win for us. I'm gonna be a 100 point guy for the Meute this season, and finally live up to my potential."
