Vegas Adds Depth, Aims to Turn Heads

Recommended Posts

With the 63rd regular season nearing, Las Vegas sought out to fill the vacancies in their lineup over the span of the weekend. Three waiver players accepted one year $1.5 million deals with The Aces; starting with d-man Fabio Lucera followed by centre Connor McDavid and right winger Doljodh. The depth pickups were a result of restless scouting efforts from management in an effort to add extra urgency to the lineup.

After a 50 win season in season 62, Vegas only had three returning players but were in no mood to roll over and be a bottom tier hockey club. Through the waiver wire Vegas had previously acquired two sure-fire performers in goalie Brick Wahl and d-man Evgeni Komarov and hope the same level of commitment for their newest additions.

Keep an eye out for The Aces in season 63 as they look to play the underdog during their climb back up to the top over the course of the campaign.
