Vegas Welcomes Back Rykonen

     With the VHLM trade scene heating up, Vegas was contacted regarding the availability of raising star Evgeni Komarov. Discussions carried through the later part of the afternoon into the evening. All parties involved in discussion had their clear agendas. The small Russian defender caught the eye of GM's after his accelerated rate of improvement over the weeks since entering the league. The deal saw Vegas re-acquire Juri Rykonen who was previously traded away in season 62.

The deal was as follows;

Halifax receives:

Juri Rykonen

The return for Vegas will help them in the long run as they continue their climb back up the league ranks. Vegas' GM and assistant GM are pleased with the result and are hoping Juri Rykonen will help fill the void with Komarov leaving town. Juri is set to arrive in Vegas by early Monday morning and should quickly join the Aces lineup in the coming days.
