200 shots

Couple games ago I broke the magical 200 shot mark in my career. That is a decent shot total when you think about what kind of player I´m like and also what kind of role I play in, I´m not that good in math, but the average shot total per game is over 2. I have managed to score 9 goals with those 200 shots, to those who laugh at that, I just want to say: shut up. I´m not always looking to score when I shoot towards the net you know, sometimes I try to get a rebound or just dump the puck to the net if there is no other way, better to get a small % shot towards the net than keep the puck and in the worst case scenario lose it and there is no shots towards the net.

 

That explains it little bit, but I must also admit that I have been struggling to score from good spots. Guys I play with sometimes make half open nets for me, but I miss the net completely or hit the post, I believe I had 75 shots hitting the posts last year, so far this year I´m at 18 posts, so with some luck I could have close to 50 career goals already.

 

Early in the season, so I got time to improve my goal totals, I don´t have any targets or anything like that, but if I score more goals than last year - I´m happy.
