Oh shit nearly forgot about this

2 TPE is the target of this post. That target shall be reached by chatting about Season 63. That is a season currently happening and it is tiiiiiiiiight. The top four teams are separated by about four points and change order on essentially a daily basis. It's not a massive deal since they'll all make the playoffs anyway, but one will have to the wildcard round and although Toronto would be obvious underdogs, I think they definitely could make things more nerve wracking than necessary for one of the contenders. The Legion have taken some high profile scalps so far this season and in the madness of the playoffs I wouldn't put it past them to take more.

 

If I had to pick one of the cup contenders to finish fourth it would probably be Quebec, purely on the basis that they don't have a clear star forward. But they do have probably the best defence in the league with Rayne and Jones and Iseult is definitely benefiting as the current frontrunner for the Shaw and Clegane, despite the massive TPE gap between him and Stopko. Calgary would be my second favourite to finish fourth on the basis of less depth but they do have most of the very best players in the league. In any case, it would be very brave to predict either of the two S62 finalists to not make the finals this year and that is not a call I'm willing to make. In the interests of having a new cup winner it would be nice if Calgary didn't win but we'll see what happens.
