world juniors

So I can not say for certain if this is a usual thing or something done every second year but world juniors is kind of exciting. getting to represent your country and put on your countries colours in front of fans will always be a special time for any player. i was selected to play for my home country of canada so that is pretty exciting. I think we have a shot to do some real damage but I dont know for certain as im somewhat ignorant to the other teams talents and skill levels. i was told i was first pairing defensemen which was a big surprise but something im looking forward to. to be counted on your team for full time minutes with a big role is a true honour. i guess team canada executives must have seen my play in halifax this year and been happy with my production; as am I.
