Wilson also added his second for good measure. jess wasn't expecting to score at all this year at the rate he was on. To get his first two vhl goals in the vhl in the same game was really special and to be named the first star was also a huge deal. "I was looking forward to celebrating my own goal at some point, but to be able to do it twice in the same game and pull out a win; that was awesome. I look forward to doing it a lot more and assisting my team from the backend", said by Jesse Wilson. Wilson is a second round draft pick that worked his butt off to be in the vhl and it looks like it has paid off as he now is on the scoresheet for his own goal early in his career.
