It's Calgary's favorite mediocre player back again with another update in his short yet unexciting career so far. Oleksiy Revchenko has now passed 100 career points for his career now in his second season which is not bad. He has broken his last season's career record for goals in a season, scoring his 22nd where last season he finished with 21. Revchenko is increasing his scoring ability and still keeping up decent assist numbers though he is on pace to fall short of last season's assist totals. Currently, he has 26 assists this season and he had 33 last season. It is possible he catches this number with 12 games remaining on the season but he will need to average about .75 points per game to do so. If he can go on a scoring run, albeit unlikely, he could reach a possible milestone for a 30/30 season which would be impressive. The improvements have shown on the ice, and his game is nearing great heights and should be a consistent 30/30 performer in his career. Revchenko should be the best Ukrainian player to step on the ice I think and he wears his country's flag with pride even playing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Revchenko's next goal will be to top 50 assists in a season and an improving Wranglers' roster should make that possible.
