In one week, it went from thinking Finn Davison could end up heading out of Davos, to thinking that he is someone that will be staying there for a while. With the surprising retirement of the other goaltender, Rhett Stoffiday, the UK Goaltender found himself as the only active goalie on the Roster, something that was really unheard of which is why he went so late in the draft. Considering that he is only 24 TPE back from Rhett and a season behind him, this looks to be a good thing for HC that they grabbed him when they did at 17th Overall. That is looking like a real steal considering he will likely be protected when the draft protections list comes out.

Now, this season has been less than ideal for the 6'3" goaltender. He is 6-21-5 on the season with a 3.30 GAA and a .918 Save Percentage. He also has not shutout anyone but allowed 109 goals on 1,322 shots against. 1,322! That is insane. Now, let's take a look where he stacks up against his fellow goaltenders.

Save Percentage: 6th in the league (behind Stopko, Pepper, Brodeur)

GAA: Not top 10

It is crazy how the world turns, but this is the fun of hockey. We will see the official list, but it has to be pretty sure that Davison will be staying put in Davos.
