Tesla Declares For VHLM Draft

The VHLM had a small surprise just a couple of hours prior to the draft, when Finnish forward Leo Tesla declared he would be applying for the draft. The draft was full of talented and anxious prospects waiting for their turn in the spotlight when Tesla arrived at the scene. Scouts and GMs had very little information on the forward who just came over from Finland.

 

“I would have been here earlier, but complications at the airport and with some paperwork made it so I had to wait at the airport a lot longer than I would have liked.”

 

That’s all that we got from the new forward. Nobody knew of him and had no real idea of what he brings to the table. The Ottawa Lynx took a chance on Tesla and selected him with their 19^th overall selection. Was it the right decision? Only time will tell. The only thing we know for sure is he will be under agent Roberto Martucci. Martucci had a decent career, winning the cup once with the Quebec City Meute. Now he might be able to turn his attention to being an agent and maybe Tesla will be the next rising star.
