Jesse Wilson appears to be in the coaches doghouse lately. His poor play has him back on the depth chart and not really looking like he will compete in Helsinki for better minutes. He goes tot he rink every week and performs and tries to progress his career and reach his potential, but nothing budges. Currently he sits behind Dan Montgomery in the depth chart despite working out more in the weight room and taking more time during pre-game morning skates to work with coaches. The effort he is showing is that of a first line blue liner but his coaches thus far have said that he will stay where he is. Wilson loves being on Helsinki but would like to be able to see the first line minutes and help out the top dogs on the Titans. If Wilson can show some more consistency he should get noticed by the coaches and maybe the General manager as well in the coming weeks. Wilson has not registered more than one point in a game this season to our knowledge and his defensive play leaves a lot to be desired from the young Canadian blue liner.
