SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- The Saskatoon Wild have played a couple handful of hockey games since the trade, and while their record has greatly improved, they're still maintaining four points behind the wildcard position in the standings. Saskatoon improved their record from 11-17-1 to 21-21-2 since the trade, which is an impressive feat for a team that everyone expected to finish last, but people are starting to learn that anything can happen in the realm of hockey.

Frustratingly, however, the teams above Saskatoon keep winning against each other while Saskatoon plays - seemingly on repeat - the Yukon Rush in an entertaining ninety game series that showcases both clubs fighting back and forth for position in the standings with two forks and a piece of moldy bread; apparently the VHLM scheduler was on mushrooms laced with every other drug and thought it was funny for the teams to play each other to boredom, but it happened and there is yet another game in the future where the WIld and Rush face off against each other.

The Wild sit one point behind the Rush for sixth position in the standing, and if they win in regulation against the Rush, the Wild will climb to sixth position in the standings.
