Slaeter Fjorsstrom celebrating a win with Mike Szatkowski Jr and defensive partner Dan Tremblay

Slaeter Fjorsstrom is enjoying a good rookie season eight games into his VHL career.  In eight games, Fjorsstrom has seven points, all of which are assists.  He also has twenty-two blocked shots and eleven hits.  While he is leading all rookies in points so far, Fjorsstrom is still looking for his first VHL goal.

"I can't really complain.  I'm doing well, and so is Riga, but I hope I can get my first of the year sooner rather than later."

So far on the season, the Reign are 5-3-0, which is good for second in the European Conference, behind reigning champions HC Davos.

"They're the team to beat in Euro this season.  They basically only lost Odin Tordahl, but added Naomi Young and Nikita Lebedev.  If we want to be crowned champions at the end of the season, we have to go through them and it will be a tough task."
