Fire Tortorella 2,653 Posted April 7, 2019 Share Posted April 7, 2019 Only 5 of the VHL's 9 teams (6 out of 10 including Malmo) have a 1st round pick in this draft. Seattle, New York, Helsinki, and Toronto are the teams without a 1st round pick. In fact, Toronto has no picks in 1st through 4th rounds currently in this draft or the S67 Draft 2 teams have multiple 1st round picks. Both Davos and Riga have three 1st rounders in this draft. This is especially amazing considering Riga is currently 1st overall in the standings. There is a huge imbalance of forwards in this draft. Of the currently top 22 ranked players, 4 are defensemen, and 1 is a goalie. The highest ranked defenseman is 13th, and the highest ranked goalie is 12th.
