Sigurdsson Talks Possible Destinations

The draft is quickly approaching us, and many of the top prospects (such as Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Shane Mars) are going to find out their destinations in the VHL very very soon. One of the players considered a top 10 player in the class is Arnor Sigurdsson, weighing in at 209 TPE (good for 9th in the class tied with Shawnomir Jagr). When asked about what teams he’d prefer to go to, he had this to say. 

 

“Calgary is of course my favored destination. They’ve got a great team with amazing GMs and a long and successful history. Sure, they haven’t done well this season, but they’ll bounce back next year. Malmo is also attracting to me. An expansion team with sick branding that would probably immediately call me up if drafted? Count me in. To be honest, I really don’t care where I go as long as the team gives me the opportunity to prove myself in the VHL as soon as possible and gives me time to develop. I’m just excited to find out where I go!”
