As we all know Minnesota has succeeded in clinching their spot in the finals taking their series in five games. The top lines are performing as expected and that is obviously contributing immensely to the Storm's post season success so far, however it seems as though their depth is stepping up and playing a larger role than what was expected by them. Particularly in the case of Minnesota's second line D pairing. Andreas Sundell and Aron Nielsen both have 6 assists a piece through the five game series. This is extremely impressive in Sundell's case as he is out performing his regular season stats by a mile so far. Another player that seems to be stepping up in the playoffs is Mat Tocco, while not producing shocking numbers he still sits at 4 points in 5 games while playing third line minutes. If the depth continues to shine in this manner I don't see how Minnesota won't be walking away with the cup this season.
