FacebookFighter 67
Owen May the young goaltender from Buffalo, New York has finished his first professional season in the VHL. May had a rough go of things personally but was able to enjoy some team success. The Houston Bulls finished third in the standings behind Halifax and Minnesota. May posted a 41-26-5 record which in regards is a decent season. However May had a save percentage of .882 and a goals against average of 2.99. Not stellar numbers from the young net minder. It appears May plans to stay one more season down in the VHLM before moving up to the VHL, despite being a high draft pick. May has been contacted by the Malmo Knighthawks, and many pundits have been positioning him to fall to Malmo in the first round. "I'm disappointed that we couldn't get it done here in Houston, but I hope I can be back next year to grab the title for the boys. For now, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the draft and wait for my name. Obviously, Malmo has been rumored to pick me up and I think the interest is mutual. I've done well on expansion teams haha so why not another, eh? Also being the first draft pick in team history is pretty exciting."
