:vhlmlogo:VHLM Dispersal Draft:vhlmlogo:

The Victory Hockey League Minor league will be hosting their Dispersal Draft this coming weekend and with eleven teams now in the VHLM the draft will be bigger than ever this season.With the league seeing new members and players joining on a daily basis, it is harder than ever to be a VHLM General Manager, unlike the old days were one team would own over half the first round and roll their way to a Founders Cup Championship. Today we’ll take a look at some of the players that should be on most VHLM General Managers radar as we inch closer to the Season Sixty-Six VHLM Dispersal Draft.

:phi:Philadelphia Reapers (First Overall)::phi:

After a tough first season in the VHLM for the Reapers, they were awarded with the First Overall pick in the Draft Lottery that was held just over a week ago. Philadelphia didn’t have a player that finished the season with the team put up more than 50 points last season. The Reapers will likely look to change that with the first selection in the Season Sixty-Si draft. Since joining the league and signing a free agent agreement with Philadelphia last season Bjorn Scoringsonn has been on a tear with his practice hours. Scoringsoon has been tabled as a 200 foot player early on in his VHLM career and is can also be counted on to put the puck in the net for any VHLM team that will select him in the upcoming draft. After a 9 game stint with the Reapers last year we believe Scoringsoon will suit up for at least another seventy-two in Season Sixty-Six VHLM season.

:veg:Las Vegas Aces (Second Overall)::veg:

After barley squeaking into the Season Sixty-Five VHLM playoffs and having a cup of coffee in those playoffs, the Aces find themselves with the Second Overall pick in the Season Sixty-Six VHLM Dispersal Draft. The Aces will have a new General Manager at the helm for the upcoming draft and the Second Overall pick will allow him to put his stamp immediately on the Aces. We believe the Aces will build the team from the net out selecting another player that recently came to the league in Rayz Funk. Funk like Scoringsonn has been on a tear with his practice hours over the course of the last few weeks. Funk didn’t appear in any VHLM games last season as he declared himself available for the VHL too late in the season to sign to a roster. That might hurt his draft stock as the film on the youngster from Canada isn’t readily available, but he looks to be more than committed to improving his game off the ice.

:ott:Ottawa Lynx (Third Overall)::ott:

After missing the playoffs in Season Sixty-Five by just seven points, Ottawa will look to build upon a return to the playoffs with the Third Overall pick. Ottawa has a lot of holes they will need to fill be be a top team in Season Sixty-Six, but it may be very likely that their top forward from last season in Don Draper will be returning the Canadian capital. Ottawa will look to complement Draper with another quality forward by selecting John Frostbeard with the Third Overall pick in the draft. Frostbeard played in all seventy-two games for the Yukon Rush last season putting up twenty-one goals and forty-eight assists in those seventy-two games. Frostbeard and Draper will be a great one-two punch for Ottawa in Season Sixty-Six.
