Lynx Off to Awful Start

Not many expected the Ottawa Lynx to be serious players in the North American Conference of the VHLM this year, but few thought the Lynx would be this bad. Currently off to an 0-11 start with the second worst goal differential in the league (-37), the Lynx may very well already be on the outside of playoff contention if it wasn’t for equally bad starts by two other clubs in the North American Conference. While the Yukon Rush and Minot Gladiators pretty much have the top two spots locked down, the last playoff spot will come down between the Lynx, the Saskatoon Wild, and the Brampton Blades. The Blades are also off to an 0-11 start and have the worst goal differential in the league at -44. Currently “winning” the third spot in the conference are the Saskatoon Wild, with a 2-6-3 (7 points) record. The battle for the last playoff spot in the North American Conference will be an exciting one!
