Sitting Down With Minnesota's Boone Jenton

We were lucky enough to be able to again sit down with, newly drafted, Minnesota Storm player Boone Jenton and ask him a couple quik questions.

 

Reporter: "Thanks for sitting down with us again Boone. I know you must have a lot going on know, especially with you just getting drafted. Actually speaking of the draft, you were chosen 30th by the Minnesota Storm, what do you think about that?"

 

Boone: "Honestly I couldn't be more excited to be in Minnesota. I was able to speak with the GM before the draft and he let me know that he was interested so I'm glad it worked out. I'll also be pretty close to home so I may be able to sneak back to the farm every once in a while too.

 

Reporter: "That's great Boone, it really seems like you were the perfect match. So what are your expectations for your upcoming season?"

 

Boone: "Knowing that Minnesota claimed the title last season, I'm really hoping we can keep that success rolling. Looking at our depth chart we don't have a ton of defensemen so I'll most likely be getting decent playing time right away. I just want to take advantage of that and really show what I can contribute to the success of this team."

 

Reporter: "Having the opportunity to see you play in the past, I have a feeling you'll be able to continue that success. Especially with a team like the Storm. Best of luck, you know we'll be watching."
