With the season right around the corner you know that Helsinki is the true favorite to win the cup. They may have failed horribly in recent years, but this season will be their year. They have the best goalie, the best two way forwards, probably the deepest d-cores and one of the favorites to win the rookie of the year. Well he may have a great season, but if the league awards it to him is a different story. Orion Slade the one season and done rookie is set to make his VHL player. He is most likely the steal of his draft class because he was picked in like the 5th round because he has no intention of being loyal. Once Orion lifts the cup this season, he will turn down his option on the 3rd year of his rookie contract and become a UFA. He is planning to change teams every season. Switching championship teams every year. He even has plans to sign with one team then ask for a trade because he may not have enough seasons to play for all VHL teams minus the obvious shitty team that he rather shit on. Fuck Calgary.
