DMaximus 1,046
The VHL has officially confirmed they will allow Charlie Paddywagon to play in S66 VHL games. As stated by VHL PR head Dani Greene, “Charlie is cleared to play until the investigating bodies complete their investigation. Upon completion of the investigations, the VHL will then evaluate Mr. Paddywagon’s playing status.” The announcement was expected as the VHL historically has never suspended a player during an ongoing investigation. However, top brass at HC Davos were still relieved to hear the announcement. “One of the reasons we drafted Charlie is because we expected him to be available to play for us at the start of the season. We’re glad to hear the VHL confirmed his playing status.” said ShawnGlade, GM of HC Davos. Glade continued, “We fully expect Charlie to be cleared of any wrongdoing and not miss a single game for Davos this season.” Paddywagon has not made any public comments since the announcement, but was extremely excited to be drafted by HC Davos. He fully attended the HC Davos training camp where internal reports said he looked confident and happy on the ice. During training camp he was primarily paired up with Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen. They are expected to form the 2nd defensive pairing for Davos when the season begins tomorrow. In addition to training camp, Paddywagon was seen walking around the picturesque town greeting and chatting with local residents.
