Mikko Aaltonen was one of the promising talents that were drafted in the S66 VHL Entry-Draft, being selected 4th by the Riga Reign, big things were expected from this Finnish wonder, however things haven't gone so great so far, we had a chat with him this morning, to see how the player is feeling and get his opinions on his performance this early in the season.

"Greetings Mikko, how are you this morning?"
I'm good thanks for asking, just got done with the morning practice, now it's a little chill time and then back here for a game tonight.
"Lets get right to the point, your season hasn't started out the best, are there any reasons for this?
You see, I knew that the transition would be hard and it's right about what I expected, but I'm doing everything that I can do overcome this and still perform, the stats haven't showed that, but I'm really motivated to keep improving and to contribute even more than I have currently, I believe it's only a matter of time when I start doing damage"

"As we know you are playing alongside some big names, how's it been playing with veterans, have they helped you in your transition?"
"Yeah these guys are absolute beauties, they've given me tons of tips and tricks on how to improve my game to help me transition better, I'm really excited for the upcoming seasons with Riga Reign and playing with these amazing people"
"Riga Reign is currently 1st place in the VHL with 17P, what are some of the reasons for this incredible start so far?

I think the mix between young developing prospects and veterans is working out really well for us, and I think it's whats gonna help us in the long run, the veterans will continue and dominate with their pressence while we develop into threats.
