After his first year of playing pro hockey in the VHLM, AJ Axelsen has taken his game to the next level to lead Halifax through. His career started out quite sloppily as he only had 3 goals and 2 assists through 38 games in his first year he finally has started to show his true colours as a VHLM star. Throughout the 15 games that he has played so far he has been a valuable asset for Halifax, leading the team in points and assists, as well as having the 6th most points this year and the second most assists only behind Mississauga star defenceman Hulk Hogan. Him, and his fellow Halifax linemates, Blake Gaudette and Nacho will have to step their game up, if they are to win the elusive Founder's cup in S66. His 7 goals and 16 assists thus far have been leading Halifax through their games with a whopping 44% contribution on Halifax's 52 goals thus far.
