Travis Boychuk One-On-One

 

We are 20 games into the season here in the VHLM, and the Turku Outlaws have had their ups and downs so far in the league. With all of the talent on that team, it is finding to be difficult for any player to outshine the others. Besides Vojczek Svoboda, there are over five players in the same point-range on the club. Travis Boychuk on one hand, is in the pack with his teammates at a similar point level. He sits tied for 3rd in scoring on the Outlaws with 2 other players, 1 point behind 2nd and 1 point ahead of 4th. Scoring depth definitely is not a bad thing.

 

We approached Mr. Boychuk and asked him about his current situation and his thoughts about himself:

 

" I definitely think this team is capable of doing better. We have a solid group of guys here and every is chipping in. For myself, I want to produce even more. I really want to lead this team the way that I believe I can. We are only 20 games in though, and there is a long way to go before the playoffs. I've been working on getting stronger on the puck, and that will obviously make be a better centerman. It is nice that the team as a whole is starting to gel. "
