It's been some time before we can say that Jesse Wilson is a legit threat in the offensive zone but we can finally say he has being doing a lot of work at the professional level. Wilson leads all defensemen in the league with 15 goals from the blue line. His big shot and ability to shoot in crowds has helped him chip in on the offensive side. His defensive side has also been very steady as he has blocked 63 shots thus far. He is one point away from tying his career high and that is with just under half a season to eclipse that mark. Wilson may not win any defensemen award this season but his gradual progression has been fun to watch as he tries to become one of the best defensemen in the league. Jesse will have a tough competition as his other fellow defensemen have been exploding lately. Dan Montgomery has been fun to watch and cool to see battle on the second line.
