Once again we report on the Mexico City Kings progress in the VHLM. This expansion team started out slow and with few players but recently has been on the rise. Players are starting to gain 20 to 40 TPE per week and are about to cap out at the 200 limit! Currently the team has two players, not including their star goaltender, who have hit the ceiling at 200. Another four players have 130 TPE or better and Boris the Forest is leading that group with 167. Five other rooks have less than 100 TPE but two of them are nearing that mark. It appears the team has picked up 12 players who seem to be active on a daily basis and two other players are at the league minimum of 30 TPE total. This gives MCK 14 players now that could get the ball rolling right before the start of the playoffs. I do not doubt that 6 players plus the goalie will be capped out about that time and I certainly would be willing to bet that the Kings will have 12 players with max TPE plus the goaltender making 13 total. However, it would not be unthinkable to see 18 players at 200 TPE and counting the maxed out goalie it would make 19. That would give them 3 solid lines with a possible fourth. I would not wager that the team will go far in the playoffs, considering the 4 monsters leading the league but the Kings could shock the world if the cards fall right!
