Putin Slightly Pleased

Earlier this season Vlad Putin voiced his displeasure with the Moscow Menace saying that they were an embarrassment of the proud Russian people. His tune may have changed just a little according to recent reports.

 

"These past few weeks have been a revolution out of the Moscow. Our team has changed the morale of the Russian people. While we are not a great team they have shown what comes with hard work and dedication. We have shown immense growth and have shown our strength. Our high flying type of hockey is strong and powerful like the might of Russia. Last year we were the first team to fall to elimination. This year we get to look at the backs of a playoff team. It is my hope that within a few years we can find ourselves on top of the world. There will be hell to play if we take a step backwards next year."
